Dr. Reed’s leadership is guided by a simple but profound belief:

Schools are not just places of learning—they are centers of community wellness and human potential.

As Assistant Director of Student & Family Services for the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District, she oversees initiatives that directly mirror Kaiser Permanente’s Thriving Schools mission, advancing population health and whole-child well-being through education. Her work includes district-wide leadership of:

  • Attendance and Chronic Absenteeism Initiatives

  • Family Resource Centers and Community Schools

  • Foster Youth and Homeless Services

  • Mental Health, Restorative Practices, and PBIS Integration

By aligning educational, health, and community systems, Dr. Reed designs sustainable solutions that uplift both students and staff—fostering school environments where people can learn well, work well, and live well.
